Flammable in case of open fire and high heat. Chemical reactions can occur in contact with strong oxidants. Its vapor is heavier than air, can spread to a considerable distance at a lower place, when the source of fire will burn. Easy to self-polymerization, polymerization reaction with the rise of temperature and sudden intensification. In case of high heat, the pressure inside the container increases, there is a risk of cracking and explosion

1.Bactericidal principle:
The killing effect of aldehydes on microorganisms mainly depends on the aldehyde group. Such drugs mainly act on the hydrophobic group, hydroxyl group, carboxyl group and amino group of bacterial proteins, which can alkalize them, cause the coagulation of proteins and cause the death of bacteria.
2.Bactericidal action
Basic glutaraldehyde is a broad-spectrum and highly effective disinfectant, which can effectively kill a variety of microorganisms, so it can be used as a sterilizer, but the effect of strengthening acid glutaraldehyde on killing buds is slightly weak (Table 1).
