Food grade ammonium bicarbonate is used in the food industry as a leavening agent for flat baked goods, such as cookies and crackers, and in China in steamed buns and Chinese almond cookies.Food grade ammonium bicarbonate was commonly used in the home before modern-day baking powder was made available. In China it is called edible or food-grade"smelly powder".

USAGE
Food grade ammonium bicarbonate is an advanced fermentation agent for food. Combined with sodium bicarbonate, it can be used for raw bread, biscuits, pancakes and other leavening agent. It can also be used as foaming powder juice raw materials. The carbon dioxide production starts at temperatures above 80 °C. The mixture for cakes using this method can be allowed to stand before baking without any premature release of carbon dioxide.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION:

Wash thoroughly after handling. Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Avoid breathing dust, vapor, mist or gas. Avoid breathing vapors from heated material. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
